This degree, designed for high-achieving secondary school leavers, allows you to progress directly into Griffith Doctor of Medicine (5099)*.
In your first year, you will be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning medical science - anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, genes and disease, law and ethics, microbiology, physiology, and epidemiology.
You will also undertake an "interpersonal skills", which provides you with knowledge and skills in communication and patient interaction course.
In the second year, you will study these areas in greater depth and take medically focused courses in:
Immunology, infectious disease, pharmacology, metabolism, structural biochemistry, and molecular genetics, as well as undertaking a capstone course (Integrated Medical Sciences) that integrates and applies the knowledge of basic sciences learned in your first and second years to solving clinical problems.
Honours is available through an additional year of study.
* The Doctor of Medicine is an extended Master's program (AQF Level 9).

Qualification: GaoKao: Successful completion of the National College Entrance Examination (Gao Kao) with a minimum of 91% of the overall maximum score.
All India Senior School Certificate or Comparable Qualification (awarded by CBSE or CISCE): An overall grade average of 92% in the best four academic subjects
Qualification: Iran Pre-University Certificate or Iranian High School Diploma from 2019: Grade average of 17.6 in the last year's results
