Victoria University of Wellington

Victoria University of Wellington is one of only 14 universities in the world to hold the maximum 5 Stars Plus in the QS Stars rating of excellence and five stars in each of eight categories—arts and culture, discipline ranking and accreditations, employability, facilities, inclusiveness, internationalisation, research, and teaching. 

This university has three campuses and the Miramar Creative Centre spread out over Wellington city. It also has premises in Auckland’s CBD. The main campus is located in Kelburn, New Zealand which houses the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Education and Health. The second campus is the Pipitea campus that is located close to the New Zealand Parliament building which provides a home to the Faculty of Management and Facilities of Law, Finance, Government, Finances and Information technology. The third campus is the Te Aro campus which houses the Faculty of Design and Architecture. Victoria University also has courses at Auckland CBD.

Victoria University of Wellington has 14 halls with single room, twin-share, shared apartments, catered and self-catered options.

Halls of residence offer a safe and supportive community to help you make the most of your time at Victoria University of Wellington. The halls of residence are typically for full-time students who typically stay for the full academic year. Most halls are within walking of the three city University campuses. They allow calling cards for national, international and cell phone calls. Halls have very limited or no parking facilities available.

On the other hand, University Hall houses are fully furnished, with bedding supplied. They range in size from three to 10 residents. Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and share responsibility for communal areas.

University Hall can house 220 residents in single study bedrooms and 26 residents in twinshare study bedrooms.

And it takes 10-minute walk to Kelburn campus. 15-minute walk to the city.

Facilities in the University Hall  include Catering, Internet, Furniture, Laundry, Parking.
