HEC Montréal is a French-language university institution offering internationally renowned management education and research.

On March 14, 1907, the Act incorporating the École des hautes études commerciales (HEC) of Montreal receives Royal assent. 

The School is the first university-level business school in Canada and one of the first in North America.
