Academic background and requirement

Applicants must have completed a UTS-recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications demonstrating potential to pursue graduate studies.

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • a UTS-recognised bachelor's degree, or equivalent or higher qualification, from one of the following ‘cognate disciplines’: Architecture and Building, Engineering, Management and Commerce, Law, Economics and Econometrics, Finance.

The above applicants need to provide the following:

  • a CV clearly articulating their property or finance/investment-related work experience* (minimum of two years); AND
  • an employer's letter confirming the dates of employment and the position held; AND

Applicants who do not satisfy the academic and additional requirements above may be considered on a UTS-recognised bachelor's degree or higher qualification in an unrelated field, along with:

  • an employer's letter confirming the dates of employment and the position held; AND
  • a CV clearly articulating work experience (minimum five years); AND
  • A personal statement (maximum 500 words) explaining the reasons for wanting to study real estate investment and demonstrating an understanding of real estate investment concepts gained from work experience and knowledge of course expectations.
