The Master of Human Resource Management (Extension) at UTS provides students with the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to contribute at a senior level to their organisation's human resources and people management functions.
The course is designed primarily for individuals who are currently employed or show the potential for employment, at senior policy-making levels in the fields of human resource management, employment/industrial relations, diversity and inclusion and change management.
The core subjects provide foundational HRM knowledge as well as enhance students' academic literacy skills and knowledge of business practice.
The additional elective subject choices provide an opportunity to specialise more deeply in the human resource management discipline and to further enhance students' skills, professional practice, specialist knowledge and capabilities.
Students must complete a total of 96 credit points made up of 15 subjects, comprising eleven core subjects (66 credit points), three electives subjects (18 credit points), and either Industry Research Project or Internship Experience (12 credit points).
