You’ll study core subjects in innovation, creativity, and collaboration, plus a selection of entrepreneurial, communication and business subjects.
You specialise in one of the discipline areas, such as Advertising, Creative Writing, Culture and Society, English, Enterprise Innovation, Festival and Event Management, Graphic Design, Journalism, Law and the Creative Industries, Music, Public Relations, and Screen Media.
Or you can combine two areas for greater career flexibility.

English Language Entrance Test
The English Language Entrance test is an internal test for entry to The College and Western Sydney University programs only.
Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.

Applicants wishing to pursue a major in Music will be selected by one of three methods:
1. Attain an HSC Music result in band 4 or above. No audition is required.
2. Hold the following AMEB or equivalent (e.g. Trinity College) qualification:
a. PASS standard (minimum) of 6th Grade Performance (instrument or voice) AND
b. PASS standard (minimum) of 4th Grade musicianship and/or theory.
No audition is required.
3. Attend an audition in person as a performer and/or composer.
Applicants applying as a composer must bring recordings and/or scores of original compositions to the audition. After applying to UAC or Directly to Western, applicants must book an audition online.
