You’ll learn to create new materials, devices, algorithms and processes that assist doctors and medical researchers with preventing, diagnosing and treating illnesses and conditions.
The Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program in biomedical engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University will prepare you for a career in the healthcare industry:
Developing new medications; designing prosthetics, biomechanical implants and medical devices; or analyzing medical images through machine learning.
You can gain valuable, paid work experience via the optional co-operative internship program.
By your fourth and final year, you’ll leave here well-equipped to launch your career in a field such as implantable and wearable devices, biomaterials, medical imaging or pharmacology.
