Master of Engineering - Engineering Science
Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University is a program that targets stronger science training than traditional Engineering programs, combined with a higher hands-on experience component.
This program focuses on 5 high-technology engineering areas: Electronics, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Physics and Biomedical engineering.
Part of the hands-on experience is a mandatory coop program, one of the few in Canada, which means students enter the industry with substantial on-the-job work experience.
It also focuses on bringing Engineering concepts to the wider university, and the general public, through courses teaching to non-Engineers with Technology Experience (TEKX) courses.

Academic background and requirement
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, engineering science, or a related area, with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (B average) from a recognized university, or equivalent.
