The Master of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) at RMIT will develop advanced knowledge and skills in environmental engineering to enhance your career prospects in relevant industries.
You will develop specialist technical capabilities in:

You will enhance your professional skills in management, leadership and business enterprise.
You'll also gain skills that will allow you to step up as a project leader, consultant or manager with the knowledge to lead the introduction of new technologies and operating practices in environmental engineering.
The Research Project subject, undertaken as a full semester subject or over two semesters, provides opportunities for work-integrated learning (WIL) through industry-based projects.

Successful completion of an Australian bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Science or Technology with a major in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Engineering Systems with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0. (60-69%)
Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant degree (as above) with a GPA of at least 1.5 out of 4, will be considered if they have at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
OR
Completing an Australian postgraduate qualification (or international equivalent) in a related discipline (as above).
OR
Applicants without any relevant prior qualification will be considered if they have at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
International qualifications are assessed for comparability to Australian qualifications according to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Some applicants may be eligible for exemptions. Approved exemptions may change the duration of their study in the program.
