Overview

Bachelor of Accounting - Accounting

Swinburne’s Bachelor of Accounting is about so much more than numbers. It’s about how finances affect businesses and people’s lives.

This course aims to develop the technical skills and personal traits you will need to adapt and thrive in this rapidly evolving profession.

Today's accountants work increasingly with financial technologies, big data, data analytics and visualisation tools.

They use figures to tell the big picture and detailed financial stories through lenses like those focused on ethical practices, the environment and sustainability.

Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through Work Integrated Learning programs, which are a guaranteed part of all bachelor's degrees and can include placements, internships or industry-linked projects.

In this degree, in the Industry Consulting Project (BUS30009), you’ll team up with other students to work on a real project briefed to you by an industry partner.
