The programs offer you the opportunity to study health, physical activity, and sport from a range of perspectives. Students may study the physiological responses to exercise; health promotion; the mechanics of movement; the psychology of sport; the effects of biological factors on health; the effects of socio-cultural factors on health; and epidemiological study of population health. Graduates from our program enjoy employment in various settings including: academia, public health policy, workplace ergonomics consulting, medicine, community health agencies, sports media public relations, research positions in health care facilities, epidemiologist, and kinesiologist. M.A. (Kinesiology and Health Studies) – 2 years in the area of expertise of the Socio-Cultural Studies of Sport, Health and the Body.
