Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (Pathway to Master of Management)

Your undergraduate degree will start with core courses in business. 

These will give you a solid grounding in important areas including accounting and quantitative methods for business, business law, finance, business intelligence, data analysis, economics and management.

You will then branch out into your accounting specialisation, learning cutting edge knowledge and skills in:

  • Financial and management accounting
  • Taxation and company law
  • Auditing
  • Sustainability accounting
  • Global and contemporary accounting issues
  • Strategic financial analysis

Your postgraduate degree will advance your knowledge and skills in contemporary management practice. 

You will then go on to develop expertise in core areas such as business ethics, business analytics, leadership and performance, and strategic thinking. 

This degree will enable you to learn how to effectively manage organisations and achieve key business objectives.

You can gain an extra qualification and broaden your career prospects by completing a Diploma in Languages.

This Fast-track to Masters program enables you to commence a 3-year Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and secure a place in a 1-year Master of Management (typically 1.5 years) in just four years of study.

You will fast-track your progression into the master’s qualification by substituting four selected courses or electives in your bachelor's degree to complete master’s-level courses.

Successful completion of the Centre for English Language at the University of South Australia (CELUSA) Academic English Program: Level 4 (AE4)

 

If you do not meet the English language entry requirements, you can successful completion of the Centre for the English Language at the University of South Australia (CELUSA) Academic English Program. 

 
If they successfully complete the AE program at an appropriate level, students applying to these institutions will not need to take IELTS or any other English language test. Depending on their English level upon commencement of the AE program and their required IELTS score for further studies, students will study for between 10 and 40 weeks.

Achieve a GPA of 4.0 or above on completing their second year of study to be eligible.

 

You must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program or an equivalent program in your home country or a recognised Pathway or Foundation Studies Program.

If you are an international student studying Year 12 in Australia, you need to apply via the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

Applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria with a competitive result and demonstrate that they fulfil any prerequisite requirements and essential requirements for admission:
