Bachelor of Business (Pathway to Master of Management (Marketing))

Your undergraduate degree will start with core courses in business. 

These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as international business, economics and entrepreneurship. 

There are also eight courses that you can use to custom build your degree. 

For example, you could choose to do either:

  • two minors (four courses each) or
  • a 12-month international exchange

You will advance your knowledge and skills in contemporary management practice in your postgraduate degree. 

Develop your expertise in core areas such as marketing strategy, planning and leadership and performance. 

Learn how to effectively manage organisations and achieve key business objectives.

This Fast-track to Masters's program enables you to commence a 3-year Bachelor of Business and secure a place in a 1-year Master of Management (Marketing) degree (typically 1.5 years) in just four years of study.

You will fast-track your progression into the master’s qualification by substituting four selected courses or electives in your bachelor's degree to complete master’s-level courses.

This program gives you a solid grounding in core business concepts and the flexibility to create your own study plan, as well as advanced management and marketing skills to become a successful leader and decision-maker in your field.

There are different ways to tailor your undergraduate degree to suit your future career.

You can choose to:

  • Build your own degree by completing two minors (without electives) across a range of different study areas
  • Participate in a one-year international exchange with the prestigious Rennes School of Business in Brittany, France, and receive two parchments after just three years of full-time study. In exchange, you will have the flexibility to specialise in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Finance or Marketing, as well as undertake an internship in France. Upon completing your studies, you will graduate with a UniSA Bachelor of Business and an International Bachelor Programme in Management from Rennes School of Business.
    The Master of Management (Marketing) is designed in consultation with a network of industry and professional partners. It is informed by world-class research in management, marketing and business, combining up-to-date theory and the practical application of management models and methods.

Successful completion of the Centre for English Language at the University of South Australia (CELUSA) Academic English Program: Level 4 (AE4)


If you do not meet the English language entry requirements, you can successful completion of the Centre for the English Language at the University of South Australia (CELUSA) Academic English Program. 

If they successfully complete the AE program at an appropriate level, students applying to these institutions will not need to take IELTS or any other English language test. 

Depending on their English level upon commencement of the AE program and their required IELTS score for further studies, students will study for between 10 and 40 weeks.

If you are an international student studying Year 12 in Australia, you need to apply via the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).

Applicants are required to meet one of the following criteria with a competitive result and demonstrate that they fulfil any prerequisite requirements and essential requirements for admission:


Recent secondary education
Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent

  • Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and achieve a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), or
  • Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or
  • Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points

Applicants who have not achieved the Selection Rank required for automatic selection may be selected for any remaining places based on the grades of their year 12 subjects.

Higher education study

  • Complete or partly complete a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or
  • Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at the undergraduate level or above

Vocational Education and Training (VET)

  • Complete an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate IV or above

Work and life experience

  • Qualify for Special Entry, or
  • Complete a UniSA Foundation Studies program or equivalent, or
  • Hold completed secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE obtained more than 2 years in the past
