The Bachelor of Engineering Advanced (Honours) at Western Sydney University is designed to meet Engineers Australia professional accreditation requirements.
Focus on a discipline area by selecting a major in Advanced Manufacturing, Civil, Construction, Materials, and Sustainability Engineering, or join the WSU-UNSW (Western Sydney University and UNSW) Collaborative Program by selecting a major in Electrical, Mechanical or Robotic & Mechatronics.
In addition, you can further specialise by selecting a minor from a wide range of recommended subject sets that will complement your chosen discipline.
The honours class will be awarded after four years of study, based on your overall academic performance during the study period.
Students in this program must maintain at least a credit average GPA (5.0+ GPA) throughout their study; those are not meeting this academic performance requirement will be transferred to the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program.
Western Sydney University seeks to enhance student learning experiences by enabling students to engage in the culture, expectations and practices of their profession or discipline.
This program includes placement or other community-based unpaid practical experience.
There is a mandatory work component required for the completion of this program.

Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.
