The Bachelor of Business (Pathway to Teaching Secondary) at Western Sydney University is a three-year undergraduate program that combines comprehensive business knowledge and skills to teach effectively across the whole curriculum range at the secondary school level.
The business subjects are designed to equip students with foundation knowledge in Accounting, Marketing, Management, International Business and Economics.
The education subjects are broadly structured for students to investigate and critique contemporary education issues.
Students are also provided with the opportunity to study subject content subjects in either Modern History or Geography and Urban Studies, Mathematics, English, or Studies of Religion, dependent on their interests.
This program leads to a Master of Teaching (Secondary), an accredited postgraduate qualification that presents opportunities for employment across Australia and internationally.

English Language Entrance Test
The English Language Entrance test is an internal test for entry to The College and Western Sydney University programs only.
Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.

Year 12 HSC (or equivalent); or completed Diploma of Business Western Sydney University The College; or completed relevant VET award.
Assumed Knowledge: Mathematics and any two units of English.
Students unable to demonstrate sufficient mathematics achievement levels will be required to use one of the elective units to increase their mathematical aptitude.
