Associate of Arts Degree in Philosophy

The Associate Degree in Philosophy at KPU is designed to foster the development of general critical reasoning and writing skills. 

Students pursuing the Associate Degree will experience a learning environment that is supportive and challenging. 

They will receive a solid introduction to the critical reasoning, writing, and problem-solving skills required for successful careers in any area.

Philosophy students tend to have an inquisitive nature, and are often willing to question anything and everything. 

They typically possess a number of the following: curiosity, a significant amount of creativity, the ability to formulate opinions and defend them in debate, and a willingness to engage in debate on virtually any point, purely for the love of a good argument.
