Overview

Certificate in Legal Administrative Studies

The Legal Administrative Assistant program is a full-time cohort program that allows 35 students per cohort to spend time learning about the industry.

The program is delivered each Fall and runs for two semesters at KPU Surrey.

As a student in the program, you’ll learn how to prepare legal documents and work with experienced instructors, including lawyers.

Our career-focused, hands-on program will introduce you to a number of different areas of law, including family law, corporate law, and wills and estates, in order to help you develop a breadth of highly transferable skills to ensure your success in the workplace.

In only eight months (2 semesters) you’ll be prepared for a rewarding career in a variety of professional environments.

The program also features a built-in practicum where you’ll gain real experience and make valuable industry connections.
