In the Industrial Design program, you will learn how to develop new products that are used in daily lives.
These may include everything from everyday products to mobile apps.
You’ll be encouraged to design sustainable products that will last many generations, keeping in mind diverse cultures.
You’ll learn about research, concept development and making prototypes, You will also study how people behave to better understand what their needs are.
An important benefit of studying Industrial Design at OCAD U is that while you’re studying theory, you’ll also be able to take practical, creative hands-on courses, such as design and drawing.
The Industrial Design program is recognized by the Association of Canadian Industrial Designers.
Duolingo English Test (DET) : Score Requirements: Minimum overall score of 110
If your English language test scores meet the minimum listed below by March 2021 you are eligible to register for EAD: Preparation. Upon successfully completing the EAD: Preparation program students will be eligible to take EAD: Bridge To First Year to satisfy OCAD U's English language requirements to enter the first year of your undergraduate degree in September.
