Overview

Master of Project Management

This Master of Project Management at the Swinburne University of Technology is designed to provide the expertise required to manage complex, high-value projects across various industries in any country.

You’ll also graduate with internationally recognised industry certification, including the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

You’ll develop the knowledge, skills and conceptual understanding needed to apply project management principles and address resource management, risk management, business analysis and strategy.

Through Swinburne’s strong links with the industry, you’ll gain insights directly from project management professionals and learn from their experiences and case studies about current and emerging practices, methodologies and tools.

Your experiential learning will be enhanced through role plays, simulations, case histories and applied research.

In addition, you’ll work through the full project management cycle of a large project in the enterprise unit.

Enrich your studies by choosing from 11 cross-disciplinary specialisations or a wide range of postgraduate business electives that cover topics such as blockchain and artificial intelligence and study tour options.

Depending on your prior learning and experience, you may complete the Master's in two years, 18 months, or a year.
