Overview

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical & Electronic Engineering)

The University of Southern Queensland's Bachelor of Engineering Honours program allows you to get hands-on with various advanced technologies.

Including automated test equipment, embedded real-time controllers, sensors and the Internet of Things, and an exciting final year research project associated with an industrial application.

You’ll gain a thorough understanding of electrical theory, control theory, electrical plant, computer interfacing and programming, measurement principles and sensor design, signal processing and communications, and engineering project management.

Enabling you to design electrical and electronic products, processes or systems that are soundly based on theory.

Professional experience:

You will need to complete a minimum of 60 days of professional experience for your degree.

However, many UniSQ students are already employed in industries relevant to their studies and may be able to write up their existing work experience to meet this requirement.

These experiences provide you with opportunities to put theory into practice.

All students must be able to meet the physical and other professional requirements of practical experience within this program.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience:

Suppose you have previously studied in your home country.

In that case, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses you must study to finish your program.

Pathways:

If you don't meet the entry requirements, have pathway options available.
