With a focus on climatology, ecology and conservation, the Bachelor of Science (Environment and Sustainability) is designed for those who want to explore environmental science, biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation and natural resource management for a sustainable future.
Bachelor of Science (Environment & Sustainability) is more about issues such as biodiversity loss and climate change and the social, political and environmental implications of human impacts on the globe.
This program at the University of Southern Queensland will teach you about food chemistry and analysis, food processing and product development, and food safety.
You will also develop an understanding of the effects of food components on human nutrition and health.
Put your learning into practice in your final year by attending residential schools and doing a work placement within the industry.

EAP includes two levels, and each level takes 10 weeks to complete.
To start your studies in EAP, you will need an IELTS result of at least 5.0 in the four macro skills or an equivalent recognised English international test.
Students from non-English backgrounds residing in Australia should meet the following entry requirements:
General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent.
To study this degree, we also assume you have sound knowledge in:
Assume your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at the high school level (typically studied in Year 12).
It is also recommended that you have studied Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C) and one of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent.
If you do not have the recommended Mathematics B Level for entry, you will be required to undertake MAT1000 Mathematics Fundamentals as an elective.
