The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management, Ontario College Graduate Certificate program provides extensive, hands-on training for careers in food and beverage processing, safety, and quality assurance.
This four-term, full-time program is designed for students with previous degrees or diplomas in related sciences, engineering or food safety, and will add to previous education and skills.
The curriculum at Lambton College focuses on principles of food safety and quality assurance standards applicable to the Canadian food and beverage processing industries.
Food Chemistry and Microbiology, Food Safety Management Systems, and Sanitation along with an in-depth review of Canadian and International Food Laws and Regulations are the core elements of this program.
The program offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical knowledge including a co-op/project term to allow students to integrate into the Quality Assurance management team.
Graduates will have strong knowledge of food and beverage processing procedures, sanitation practices, HACCP principles, health and safety practices, and food safety standards, as well as good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

The Lambton Institute of English is operated by Lambton College, a public, not-for-profit Ontario post-secondary institution that provides high-quality academic training in English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
This Board of Governors certificate program is designed for full-time students who need to improve their English language skills for post-secondary study.
The program is divided into two categories. English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
The former focuses on establishing a strong foundation in the four skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening in levels elementary and intermediate. The latter focuses on using these four skills for academic purposes.

Following the completion of this Board of Governors certificate program, students are eligible for entry into an academic diploma or post-graduate program.
Entry into the Elementary Level requires a minimum score of 20 points on the Oxford Online Placement Test, which is equivalent to the CEFR A2.
The admissions process is competitive and meeting the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee admission.
In order to keep pace with the requirements of each and every course in your program, Lambton College recommends that each student have access to a laptop while studying at our college.
