Master of Administrative Science - Global Leadership and Administration at FDU is a 2-year, 30-credit program.

Option to complete the MAS program in an accelerated format as the Vancouver Campus offers Trimester terms of study (Fall, Spring, Summer).

Specialization courses focus on both practical and theoretical concepts while developing administrative, analytical, and decision-making skills. The specializations include:

Language pathway (conditional offer) is available

International students who do not yet meet the English language proficiency requirements for direct admission to the Master of Administrative Science (MAS) degree program, and who wish to take MAS coursework while upgrading their academic English abilities, may qualify for acceptance into the Foundations in Academic Research (FAR) program or the Master Academic Foundations (MAF) program at FDU.  


Academic background and requirement

  • Graduated from an accredited 4-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent.
  • Maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (“B“) in their undergraduate studies.

 

Foundations in Academic Research (FAR)

  • International students who have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (no band lower than 6.0), who wish to upgrade their academic English abilities, but would also like to take Master of Administrative Science coursework at the same time, may enroll in the Master Foundations in Academic Research (FAR) program at FDU.
  • This program provides students with the foundational skills necessary to develop the research, academic writing, and oral communication competencies appropriate to a master’s level program, including effective research strategies, writing reports, and literature reviews at a master’s level, delivering effective research presentations and negotiating the expectations and cultural norms in North American university and workplace settings.
  • The Foundations in Academic Research program is a full semester of coursework that includes two MAS academic courses:
    • Financial Administration and Theory and Practice of Administration.
  • At the end of the program, students will have earned six academic credits towards the completion of their MAS degree program.
