The Master of Criminology (Professional) program provides you with skill development and training, skill development, and a scholarly appreciation of crime, justice, and forensic issues.
The program at Bond University provides an understanding of a broad range of issues involving:
Criminology theories, current information on crime prevention, the theory and practice of punishment, criminal offenders, the police, courts and correctional institutions, including contemporary crime and deviance issues.
You will be provided with the knowledge, research skills, and techniques required for analysing criminological issues and an understanding of critically evaluating published research.
At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.
Eligibility criteria apply to the professional placement option.
The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).
