Speech pathologists diagnose, treat and provide services to people with communication impairments, including speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, or clients with eating and drinking difficulties across the lifespan.
You will gain a detailed understanding of communication development, developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders, clinical practice and research.

If you are planning to study Curtin English as a pathway to Curtin College or Curtin University, you will apply through your application for your undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma program.
You will receive a conditional offer that packages your University or College course with the Curtin English pathway that you will need to complete.
Applicants with an honours degree or a bachelor degree with a course weighted average of 65% are eligible for entry to the program.
The application process is competitive, and typically successful applicants have demonstrated a distinction average.
Evidence of studies in human biology at the university level is essential. Applicants without this background will have to complete additional units in this area before commencing the course.
