The Master of Cybersecurity (MCybersec) at Monash University gives you the skills to manage and administer cybersecurity and blockchain and prepares you for careers as security systems analysts, systems designers, data security specialists, or security software engineers or administrators.
As a cybersecurity professional, your specialized skills will always be in high demand, as well as highly rewarded.
The MCS expands your knowledge of how to design, deploy and maintain security services, by combining theory with practice.
You explore issues faced both by users and application providers and devise possible solutions.
The course is structured into three parts: Part A. Foundations for advanced security studies, Part B. Core Master's Study, and Part C. Advanced practice.
Part C. Advanced practice 24 credit points
You must complete either the industry experience or master's thesis research option.

Monash English course is ideal if you don’t meet the English requirements for Foundation Year and Monash English Bridging.
Monash English provides a direct pathway to Foundation Year and Monash English Bridging, without the need to sit an IELTS (or equivalent) test.
You can enter Monash English at any level. You will need to sit an approved English language test and achieve a minimum score of IELTS 4.
Or, you can complete the Monash English Placement Test and enter without an IELTS score.
