For students thinking about a career in business, economics, or property, the UTS Bachelor of Property Economics provides the edge required to get started in a global industry.
In this degree, students learn the specialist knowledge required to enter the property sector, with property valuation, market analysis, investment and development skills.
Their skill set is just as relevant locally as it is internationally.
This degree covers economic, legal and financial disciplines, giving students the flexibility to pursue various career paths.
UTS graduates are highly sought after and have excellent starting salaries: the property industry actively recruits property economics students.
Most students are working in the industry by their third year of study.
This job-readiness results from UTS's industry connections: the curriculum was developed in consultation with industry, guest lecturers from industry, and students work with real-world projects such as Barangaroo, Central Park and Green Square.
The degree structures classes so students mix individual and team-based work, combining theory and practice.
In addition to attending classes, students are encouraged to gain practical experience in appropriate professional or industrial organisations.
Full-time students undertake practical studies as part of the program, which includes core subjects.

UTS Science offers bridging courses in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
Bridging courses help prepare you for university studies and learning in the university environment.
Subjects taught in bridging courses do not carry any credit towards your degree but will help you prepare for first-year university subjects.
This may include students enrolling in science courses or other areas of study such as engineering, business, nursing, health, architecture, education, and information technology.
If you don't meet the admission requirements for this course, there may be alternative pathways to help you gain admission.
If you’re an international student looking for a university preparation program, UTS Foundation Studies is designed to help you take your next step into Australian university study.
Students who successfully complete the program will qualify for the first year of most undergraduate degrees at UTS or a UTS College diploma for those who need more preparation.
