During this program, you will learn about the various data types, extract relevant and meaningful data, and develop the analytical skills to turn this data into valuable insights.
Throughout your studies, you will learn how to efficiently identify trends, understand customers and predict behaviour, detect fraud, and identify credit risk.
Western's Master of Data Science provides a strong applications focus, covering the nature of data, including Big Data and data-driven investigations, as well as visual and computational analytics.
After completing the program, you will have completed two self-guided master projects and will graduate with the confidence and skills to draw out meaningful insights with actionable metrics.

Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.
