Master of Engineering - Biomedical

Biomedical engineering at Western Sydney University applies principles and practices from engineering to medicine and biology to design and develop new technology and equipment for healthcare. 

Students studying this major will undertake subjects in advanced signal processing, biomedical electronics, human physiology, biomedical data, statistics and images, in addition to advanced robotics.

Academic background and requirement

Applicants must have successfully completed a recognised four-year undergraduate degree, or higher, in engineering in one of the specialisations, e.g. Civil, Biomedical, Environmental, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, or Telecommunication.

Applicants seeking admission based on work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
