Contemporary managers benefit from grasping the fundamental concepts of finance theory.
Finance major at Western Sydney University introduces students to these concepts, including the time value of money, risk and return, capital budgeting and capital structure – and the tools of financial decision-making in the context of the Australian institutional environment.
Students examine corporations' investment, financing and dividend decisions and develop an understanding of the essential practices of financial management from the perspective of both large and small firms.
Students will develop a solid financial compass and be able to make financial decisions more confidently.
You will have the opportunity to complete either a business internship or a business project subject, applying the knowledge you have gained during the program of your degree.

Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.
