The Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education program is completely flexible and allows you to:
Start your studies by reviewing the foundations of adult education and e-learning. Round up your first 60 credits through UFV coursework, transfer credit, and Prior Learning Assessment.
All courses pair practical and theoretical coursework with real-life workplace experiences.
Near the end of your Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education degree, solidify your knowledge through three capstone courses where you explore your passions, synthesize your learning, and apply reflective techniques.
You earn a Workplace Education (WE) associate certificate and an Integrated Learning Design associate certificate as part of your degree.

English Language Studies (ELS)
If you do not meet our Qualifying Studies level, you may be eligible for the English Language Studies (ELS) foundational English and academic upgrading program.
After completing the ELS program, you may be eligible for the Qualifying Studies level. To be eligible for ELS, you must have a minimum IELTS score (or equivalent) of 5.5 with no band score below 5.0.
There are three levels of ELS. Each level of ELS usually takes one semester.

The Adult Education department will also consider applications from working professionals with at least three years of significant and relevant Adult Education or related experience, even though they may not possess the required GPA, course grades, or course currency necessary for entry into the degree program.
The department will exercise discretion in such cases and, where warranted, accept students on a conditional basis.
Students accepted to the program under this applicant category will be required by the department to support their application by submitting a résumé and/or letters of reference to the program advisor, as determined by the department.
