Macquarie's Bachelor of Professional Accounting will enable you to understand the accounting profession's challenges and issues. 

It will also help you meet the requirements for membership in accounting professional bodies, including: 

CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). 

The degree is fully accredited by each of these bodies.

To apply for an undergraduate program, international students will need to have completed one or more of the following academic qualifications:

• A recognised senior secondary school qualification or university entrance examination, such as the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC) or other equivalent Australian or overseas high school qualification
• A recognised university Foundation course
• A recognised 2 or 3-year Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
• At least one year of a university degree from a recognised institution

Assumed knowledge

• HSC Mathematics Standard 2 or equivalent.

If you don't have the assumed knowledge, you're advised to include a mathematics or quantitative methods elective unit in your first year of study.

• Intensive program

The Intensive program is designed for students needing extra academic support before they are undergraduate-ready. You need to have completed a Year 12 equivalent qualification to apply.
