Overview

Bachelor of Science - Psychological Science

Macquarie’s Bachelor of Science is for those excited by discovery and who question the norm.

Psychological science is rooted in the study of the concepts of psychology – the scientific study of psychology, behaviour, mental processes, communication and human interaction.

It focuses on the human mind's processes, including thoughts, feelings, memory, motivation, personality, intelligence, perception and desires.

In the Psychological Science major, you’ll gain a valuable understanding of psychological principles, as well as training in psychology for careers that need a version of human behaviour, such as:

Mental health agencies, not-for-profits, counselling services, hospitals and research organisations.

The major offers you the flexibility to study diverse areas in addition to a minimum number of psychology units.

NOTE: This major is not accredited and does not lead to further study in psychology.
