Overview

Master of Internet of Things

The Internet of Things is a fundamental driver of global change.

The increasingly widespread use of smart devices for advanced data sharing brings communities together and reshapes industries.

As we respond to the impacts of this ongoing digital revolution, the world needs pioneering minds to create practical and ethical solutions – that’s where you come in.

La Trobe's Master of Internet of Things (IoT) combines technical knowledge with practical learning to give you advanced programming and systems design skills.

Build the skills you need to succeed in a more connected future by studying the critical components of IoT, including platforms, protocols, and protection.

The first of its kind in Australia, La Trobe's Master of IoT is grounded in industry practice.

You'll have the opportunity to work on one of Bendigo's many IoT technology projects like Clever Weather or the Long Range IoT Network.

Or, if you're dreaming of a research career, you can undertake an industry-based thesis in your final year.

Either way, you'll have access to La Trobe's state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and IoT research lab during your degree.

Developed in collaboration with Microsoft and CISCO, it's one of the largest of its kind in Victoria.
