Master of Business Administration (International)

This MBA is suitable for people either coming straight from an undergraduate degree or those who have experience in the workforce. This course will equip you with life-long business skills. 

You’ll learn about data-driven decision making, finance and economics for managers, human resource management, management, and entrepreneurship and management in an international context.

The MBA(I) is a 16 unit course, which you can study full time or part-time. This course is full fee-paying, which means that you will be charged at the full fee-paying rate listed for each unit.

The MBA(I) includes opportunities to engage in study tours as well as internships or work integrated learning with leading Tasmanian organisations.

Students undertaking the Master of Business Administration (International) complete units totaling 200 credit points. The course includes 150 credit points of core units and 50 credit points of specialisation units from 1 of 4 following streams:

Academic background and requirement

For entry into the MBA (International), students must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution; or
  • Completion of the Graduate Certificate of Business Studies at the University of Tasmania, or an equivalent qualifying Graduate Certificate#; or
  • Completion of an AQF Level 6 qualification and a minimum of three (3) years senior managerial experience.
