This program is geared toward the industry of today and will immerse you in all aspects of production including cinematography, screenwriting, art direction, post-production, lighting, sound, directing, and producing

You will gain a solid foundation in cinematic storytelling and graduate from Canadore College with the tools you need to enter this rapidly changing and evolving field.

The student films are awarded and nationally recognized for their excellence by the CME (Canadian Media Educators) awards every year.

For the English as a Second Language program, it requires a minimum IELTS score of 3.0; for entry into English for Academic Purposes, a minimum IELTS score of 4.5 is required. 

Both programs run full-time for 8 months. Students beginning in English as a Second Language will then take an additional 8 months full-time of English for Academic Purposes before moving into their program of study.
