The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business at CQUniversity allows you to increase your employability by developing knowledge and skills in both accounting and business.

The Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Business provides you with a degree that is accredited by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) 

It meets the associate membership requirements of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

In addition, you will gain exposure to accounting theory, accounting standards and business law relevant to the financial records of Australian companies.

Academic background and requirement

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • A secondary qualification (Year 11 and 12, or equivalent), or
  • An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) diploma-level qualification, or
  • Bachelor-level qualification study for at least 2 years full-time with a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 completed within Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, Ireland, or the United States of America will meet the English proficiency.

 

China:

Gao San (Senior Middle 3): Grade average of 80% or Satisfactory completion of one year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution 

 

India:

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) awarded by CBSE, ISC, West Bengal and Maharashtra boards: Minimum average of 60% in four academic subjects.

Higher Secondary Certificate from all other boards: Minimum average of 65% per cent in four academic subjects

 

Iran:

National High School Diploma Pre-University Year Certificate: Successful completion of High School and Pre-University Year Certificate with a minimum GPA of 13 or above (20 point scale)

Academic Pathway:

START UNI NOW (SUN)

SUN is a CQUniversity initiative that allows you to study CQUniversity units in senior high school. 

SUN allows you to enrol in various CQUniversity units (subjects) online, which you can combine with your regular high school work. 

After completing SUN, you may be eligible to apply for direct entry into an undergraduate degree at CQUniversity (excluding quota-managed courses).

ACADEMIC PREPARATION
