Mechanical engineer, you will be able to make significant contributions to the design and development of machinery to improve transportation and provide affordable solutions for manufacturing and industrial production.
Key areas include mechatronics, robotics, biomechanical applications, aeroplanes, cars, pumps and pipelines.
This course at CDU builds on your existing engineering background, developing specialist skills in your chosen engineering area.
The final year of study includes a major research thesis and a system design project.
A feature of the program is 12 weeks of industrial work experience, ensuring that you are familiar with current engineering practices and begin to create your network of engineering contacts for future employment.

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Science, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Technology or:
Equivalent international qualification in civil and structural, electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering or an approved equivalent discipline.
