Memorial’s MBA in social enterprise and entrepreneurship (MBA-SEE) is the only MBA program in Canada purposefully designed to prepare students to become a new kind of leader for a new way of doing business – one that is based on the three pillars of sustainability: people, planet and profits. Students choose our 1-year, full-time Master of Business Administration in Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (MBA-SEE) program for a focused, shared experience with a special purpose and with exceptional support. Our MBA-SEE program is the only full-time, on-campus MBA program in Canada purposefully designed to prepare students to become a new kind of leader for a new way of doing business – one that is based on the three pillars of sustainability: people, planet and profits. Every course in the MBA-SEE program helps students develop a keen understanding of the strategic context of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship. As part of a cohort, MBA-SEE students benefit from a unique and shared experience that develops and solidifies a professional network to last a lifetime. Every MBA-SEE student can receive a bursary to offset the cost of the MBA-SEE program special fee.

Academic background and requirement

The equivalent of a four-year Canadian undergraduate degree with a minimum B average, or second class standing, from a recognized university. For universities that use the 4-point grade point average, this is a minimum requirement of 2.75. Two years of full-time work experience, or equivalent work and volunteer experience, deemed acceptable to the Faculty of Business Administration.
