Successful completion of an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
Specialisation - compulsory: In a relevant discipline area/s for primary or secondary teaching as per the National Program Standards and the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
For secondary teaching, students must qualify in either one double (Drama, Mathematics, Physical Education, Commerce, and Visual Arts) or two single-method-teaching areas from the listed disciplines: Arts, English, Health, Physical Education, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Outdoor education, Science, SOSE and TESOL.
