Master of Public Health - The Nutrition/Dietetics

The Master of Public Health (MPH) is an advanced program of study for students from various fields who are interested in a professional degree that will prepare them for practical work in a variety of public health practice settings. 

The goal of the program is to prepare graduates who are skilled in public health practice to contribute to promoting health and preventing illness and injury in their community.

The MPH program has two streams:

  • The Nutrition/Dietetics stream involves courses, a research project, and an internship, and can be completed in two years of full-time study.

     
  • The Population/Public Health stream involves courses and a capstone research project or practicum and can be completed in one year of full-time study. It is also available on a part-time basis.
