The two-year Business program is the optimal way for students to begin their business education and set themselves up for several career paths.
Students looking to work in an existing organization, take over a family-run business or start their own business, will find that this program offers all the important foundational courses.
In the first year, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of business management with courses including marketing, human resources, accounting, computer applications, global business principles, and ethics.
The second year will expand on these foundations with advanced business courses that all organizations consider essential.
Students will study current trends and issues in social media marketing, organizational behavior, business intelligence, business law, operations management, and economics.
This program at Lambton College allows for maximum flexibility as students can transfer into the three-year Business Administration - General program at any time.
After term 1, students can move directly into term 2 of the two-year Business - Accounting or the three-year Business Administration-Accounting programs.

The Lambton Institute of English is operated by Lambton College, a public, not-for-profit Ontario post-secondary institution that provides high-quality academic training in English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
This Board of Governors certificate program is designed for full-time students who need to improve their English language skills for post-secondary study.
The program is divided into two categories. English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
The former focuses on establishing a strong foundation in the four skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening in levels elementary and intermediate. The latter focuses on using these four skills for academic purposes.

Following the completion of this Board of Governors certificate program, students are eligible for entry into an academic diploma or post-graduate program.
Entry into the Elementary Level requires a minimum score of 20 points on the Oxford Online Placement Test, which is equivalent to the CEFR A2.
