Psychologists and their work can be classified into three general categories: research psychologists, applied psychologists and clinical/counselling psychologists.

The English Language Centre (ELC) at the University of Manitoba (UM) offers the full-time Intensive Academic English Program (IAEP).
If the student does not meet the English Language Proficiency requirement for their program of interest, the student can take advantage of this program to obtain the Academic English language skills needed to complete a degree.
If you have already achieved one of these minimum test scores, you may be eligible to enter Level 5 of the IAEP directly:
