Bachelor of Science - Chemistry

The General (BSc) degree at Manitoba provides diversified training, giving students broad exposure to the major areas of science at the introductory level.

Chemistry looks at the atoms and molecules that make up the world and how they interact, combine and change. 

Chemistry programs offer study in analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry to help prepare you to use your knowledge of the processes of matter to create new substances or examine existing ones.

China: Upper Middle School Graduation Certificate (中國語文)

High school diploma with 5 full credits at the senior level. 

Note: In cases where the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available spaces, applicants will require higher averages than stipulated to be successful in the admissions competition.

An equivalent minimum average of 80% over the following senior level courses, with no less than 60% in each course:

• English • Senior level Mathematics or Pre-Calculus Mathematics • One of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Physics • A fourth academic course• English • Pre-Calculus Mathematics • Chemistry • Physics

 

India: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate

General entrance requirement: General Certificate of Education (GCE) with a minimum of two courses at the Advanced (A) level, and three courses at the GCSE/IGCSE/Ordinary (O) level.

An equivalent minimum average of B (80%) over the following courses (at least two courses at the A level), with no less than D (60%) in each course:
