Overview

Bachelor of Business - International (Behavioural Economics)

The first of its kind in Australia, QUT’s Bachelor of Business – International combines the three-year Bachelor of Business with one year of compulsory international studies.

If you're data-driven, have an analytical mind and enjoy problem-solving, consider a dynamic future in accounting with QUT's accounting major.

Did you know that humans make up to 35,000 conscious and subconscious decisions daily?

We do not always control our decisions with various factors and biases unknowingly influencing these.

With Behavioural Economics at QUT, you can become a change-maker and take action to influence industry and policy positively.

Taught by world-class academics and industry experts, you will develop a deeper understanding of the decision-making processes of individuals and institutions.

This major will see you learn and apply the theoretical foundations of the discipline.

It will also help you further understand how Behavioral Economics can be used in various industry contexts and expose you to current practices in the Behavioral Economics industry.

Combining elements of economics and psychology, you will also learn the relevant analytical and practical skills necessary to provide critical insights on individual and organisational decision-making behaviour.

Additionally, you will be given several real-world learning opportunities to trial the theory and practical skills you learned in class.

Working with industry partners and businesses of all sizes, you will assist them in driving real-world analytical and practical change.
