Overview

Bachelor of Business (Advertising)

Advertising promotes products and services, generates awareness, attracts customers, boosts sales, and has the capability of creating a lasting impact.

In this course at QUT, you will comprehensively understand the fundamental advertising principles and strategies.

You will learn how to optimise the digital environment, navigate widely used platforms, and apply branding and marketing communication techniques effectively.

Moreover, you’ll explore the fundamentals of consumer behaviour, market research, and ethical marketing considerations and gain insights into social enterprises from a global perspective.

In your final unit, Capstone Experience, you apply everything you have learned and work together as a team to create an advertising campaign for an actual client.

This course is designed and taught by award-winning academics and industry professionals working there.

With over 25 years of experience as an industry pioneer, QUT is proud to have introduced Australia's first advertising course.

As part of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program, you'll also have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, engage with industry professionals and complete professional work placements.

Experience can make a big difference when entering the advertising industry.

With real-world client projects in your advertising units and the assistance of the WIL team, you’ll graduate with a portfolio of valuable, real-world experience to impress any potential employer.
