The Bachelor of Economics program at the University of Adelaide is designed to provide students with an understanding of economics.
It studies the interaction of the decision-making of households, businesses and society.
This will include the study of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and the economy.
It also examines how individuals respond to incentives (the things that influence decision-making) and how our conflicting choices are reconciled.
Teaching in the program emphasises developing the skills and tools of ‘economic thinking, working in teams, and developing both written and oral communication skills.
Work placement can include internships.

The Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) is a direct entry pathway into further studies at the University of Adelaide for students that have not met the minimum English language entry requirements of their award program.
The PEP is offered in 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 weeks.
