Within your Business component of the double degree at QUT, you'll undertake focused and authentic study in your chosen business discipline. 

It combines key business research and contemporary business best practices and sets demanding standards to create your future career options.  

You will choose from one of 12 major study areas: accounting, advertising, economics, behavioural economics, finance, financial planning, human resource management, international business, management, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing, or public relations.

You can submit your application without choosing a major by selecting the “Nominate at start of studies” option. 

The Data Science component of your studies covers the theory and the practical tools for data acquisition, storage, management, processing, analysis and visualisation.  

Ethical considerations, communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills are all given detailed coverage.

Your course progression has been carefully crafted to accommodate the diversity of specialist mathematics skills, scaffold your development in coding – particularly in data science-relevant languages – and prepare you for a rewarding career in data science.

Your studies will culminate with the Data Science Capstone Project, where you’ll work on an extensive project with an industry partner to synthesise your learned skills and techniques to solve more complex authentic problems, which will build your preparedness to enter the workforce.

Data science is ever-changing; you can move with it after this course.

• Indian School Certificate academic stream awarded by CISCE with an overall average of 75% in the best five academic subjects.
• All India Senior School Certificate academic stream awarded by CBSE with an overall average of 75% in the best five academic subjects.

China: 

• GAOKAO 70% in best 4 academic subjects.
   

Iran:

• Before 2020: Pre-University Certificate with a grade average of 16 on a 20-point scale.
• From 2020: National High School Diploma/Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a grade average of 16 on a 20-point scale in the final year (Grade 12).
