This program is jointly offered by the Algonquin College and Carleton University and is designed to students programs centred around both a practical experience and a theoretical background This program enables students to graduate with both a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from Carleton University and a Library and Information Technician diploma from Algonquin College Skillset which students learn will include a broad understanding of information management, as well as specific capabilities in managing digital resources as these affect research data, websites and social media Students will study courses like Metadata and Cataloguing, Collections Management, Web Interface Development, IRM Minor and Subject Analysis and Indexing
